By using the BigDoor Media, Inc. (“BigDoor”) website and services including the Virtual Economy Platform (“VEP”) and any and all other services, applications or components provided by or through BigDoor (collectively the “Services”) you expressly consent to the information collection and handling practices described in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy should be read in connection with the BigDoor Terms of Use (www.bigdoor.com/terms-of-use) and/or the VEP Terms of Use (www.bigdoor.com/veptermsofuse) (collectively the “Terms” or “Terms of Use”) and your use of the Services and any personal information you provide through the use of the Services are subject at all times to this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use. Your use of the Services is conditioned upon your agreement with, and consent to, the information collection practices described in this Privacy Policy, if you do not agree with the BigDoor Privacy Policy you may not use the Services.

BigDoor collects information about its users in the following ways:

User-provided Information: You may provide to BigDoor personally identifiable information (such as, but not limited to, your name, email address, postal mailing address, telephone number and billing information) as well as demographic information (such as, but not limited to, your age, location, gender and marital status) if you register for, or make use of the Services.

Automatically collected Information: When you visit or make use of the Services, BigDoor may send one or more cookies to your computer. You can remove cookies but doing so may disable some or all features of the Services and may prevent you from using the Services altogether. In addition, when you visit or make use of the Services we may use different types of tracking technology to record certain information from your system including, but not limited to, the following – IP Address, unique user ID, version of software installed, system type, screen resolutions, color capabilities, plug-ins, language settings, cookie preferences, search engine keywords, JavaScript enablement, the content and pages that you access the Services from, and the dates and times that you visit or make use of the Services, paths taken, and time spent on sites and pages.

Outside information: BigDoor may lawfully receive information about you from third parties, such as information located in public databases.

Third-Party information collection: Some of BigDoor’s business partners (e.g. advertisers) collect user-provided information and automatically collect information using cookies and other tracking technologies. BigDoor has no access to or control over this information collection. This Privacy Policy covers only the collection of information by BigDoor and DOES NOT COVER the information collection practices of any third parties without regard to their relationship to BigDoor. However, BigDoor values the privacy of its users and endeavors to ensure that all business partners are responsible in their collection of its user’s information. BigDoor will promptly address any concern raised by it users about third-party information collection and take any action it deems necessary up to and including reserving the right to immediately terminate any business relationship.

BigDoor does not solicit or collect information from minors. MINORS UNDER THE AGE OF 13 SHOULD NOT USE THE SERVICES OR IN ANY WAY PROVIDE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION, INCLUDING THEIR EMAIL ADDRESS, TO BIGDOOR. BigDoor will promptly delete any information it has collected upon notification that information is about a minor under the age of 13.

For those visiting and/or using the Services from the European Economic Area or other non-U.S. territories, please note that any data you enter will be transferred outside the European Economic Area or such other non-U.S. territory for use by BigDoor and its affiliates for any of the purposes described herein. By providing any data to BigDoor, you hereby expressly consent to such transfers of your data to the United States or other countries.

BigDoor uses and discloses the information it collects in the following manner:

BigDoor will use the information that it collects to provide, maintain and enhance the Services and to understand usage trends, preferences and the location of its users. BigDoor uses this information to improve the user experience and to develop new features and functionality. In furtherance of this, BigDoor may disclose information it has collected or share aggregate statistical information it has gathered with advertisers, business partners, or other third parties.

BigDoor will use your email address, without further consent, for administrative communications, for customer service purposes, to address any actual or potential legal issues (such as copyright infringement or defamation), or to contact you regarding any content that you have posted to or downloaded from BigDoor.

BigDoor may disclose information it collects as required by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with State and Federal laws (such as responding to subpoenas and court orders). BigDoor will track user-generated content and its users to the extent necessary to comply as a service provider with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. BigDoor also reserves the right to disclose information it has collected if BigDoor deems it appropriate or necessary in order to take precautions against liability; protect BigDoor from fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful uses; to investigate and defend itself against third-party claims or allegations; to assist government enforcement agencies; to protect the security or integrity of BigDoor and its Services; enforce the Terms of Use; or to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of BigDoor, its users, or others.

In the event that BigDoor is acquired by or merged with a third-party entity, BigDoor reserves the right, in any of these circumstances, to transfer or assign any and all information that it has collected as part of that merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control.

BigDoor endeavors to insure the privacy of its users by securely maintaining the information it collects and will use the following measures to protect that information:

BigDoor shall use commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of the information it collects. We cannot, however, ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to BigDoor, and you do so at your own risk. BigDoor makes no guarantee that any information it collects may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.

If BigDoor learns of a security breach, then BigDoor will attempt to notify you by posting a notice on the BigDoor website (www.BigDoor.com) so that you can take appropriate protective steps. Never divulge your account password to anyone. BigDoor will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited telephone call or e-mail. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING THE SECRECY OF YOUR UNIQUE PASSWORD AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION AT ALL TIMES.

BigDoor reserves the right to update this Policy at any time by republishing it to this Website with a new effective date, as such, you should check back frequently for updates.
